About Sequoya Workflow

Sequoya Workflow was born from the need to automate and track our visual effects studio's processes. Over the course of six years, the pipeline and database frameworks we built grew to become a formidable suite of command-line tools. Sequoya Workflow is the recasting of those frameworks into a user-friendly, full-fledged GUI application.

Released as a binary application for Mac OSX, Linux, and Windows, Sequoya Workflow is scalable and robust enough to handle the demanding directory structures and data sets typical in high-end graphics work. Its interface is easy to use, yet tremendously flexible. Extensive configuration allows users to mold Sequoya Workflow to fit their needs and existing protocols, even leveraging their own tools from within the application.

Two over-arching principals guide the development of Sequoya Workflow. Free users from tedious, error-prone, repetitive tasks and build the most robust and flexible toolset possible from industry standard components, such as Python, PostgreSQL, and Qt.
